A few favorite accomplishments: winning top awards in honors English, French and Home & Family Living (based in part on a scrumptious coconut cream pie), all during senior year in high school; being part of the Texas Women’s History Project; co-founding the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Austin; conceiving and launching Art Divas for Women & Their Work.

A few favorite doings: eating, cooking, gardening, reading, writing, gazing at the slope spiked with agaves, yuccas and native grasses outside my office window, seeing art and design, tracking down places to stay, dine and visit while traveling and coaxing out ideas for work and play.
